My name is Brock Miller, and I am the Founder of Japan Chef Supply.

This company was created from a deep appreciation for the tools we use every day — tools that bring confidence, precision, and enjoyment into the process of creating something meaningful.

My appreciation for Japanese cookware and cuisine began during my time living in Japan, where I spent two years volunteering on the northern island of Hokkaido. During that time, I had the opportunity to experience Japan's incredible culinary traditions, cooking styles, and the craftsmanship behind the tools used in its kitchens.

What stood out to me was the relationship between the chef and their tools. In Japanese cuisine, precision is not just about technique — it is about intention. It begins in the heart, moves through the hands, and is expressed through the tools that help bring an idea to life.
